This is actually the second person in a week, I have spoken with restoring a 1979 Caddy..

The other one was a cloth velvet interior, though.

I recall when I redid my arm rest in a 1976 Eldorado, the Sky Blue leather was priced by the SQUARE INCH, from the Parts Department, where I worked at the time...

It would have been cheaper, to start with a live calf on the hoof....

We once had a Caddy in, that a jealous gf had unleashed battery acid into the velvet cloth interior...

It made one want to cry.....

Am I missing something here with those two pictures? (quite feasible).

The interior shot is from a completely different car to the exterior shot?

the most crucial part of the interior is the leather. I've tried to find bentley/ferrari leather in order to restore/upgrade an older german car's interior, but the suppliers are locking the leather down. Nonetheless, there are other good italian leathers one can use instead. Apart from the leather, not sure what else you would really want to use from a Ferrari interior.

Why y'all be hatin' up on Mistamista? He's saving da motherf!@#ing earth by building a hybrid. Caddy-Italo combos are off da hook yo! I should know, as lead research & rescue driver for GM's Italian skunkworks unit; I was instrumental in getting Caddy and P'impin Farina together for some Allante love up in da club!

They was hanging off ma jock after dat, putting me in the same league as Valentino Balboni, Dario Benuzzi, Dario Franchitti and The Stig's real dad, Bright Sized Life. Tings started going downhill when I was doing recreational drugs wid Lee Iacocca we decided to make a blood n' spit pact. Dats when I realised my follow up, Da Chrysler TC.

Yo' Mistamista, holla at yo boy if ya needs like an Obi Wan'ish type mentor/guidance counsellor on your Caddillac.

Did he say he wanted a geyser "installed" on his property? Did he actually say GEYSER or am I reading this incorrectly? Why is this happening right now? Unbelievable. Never in my life would I have thought someone would put in a request to have a geyser "installed." I think I'm going to bed.
