replacing clutch a Coupe Cambiocorsa

    have a 2004 coupe with 8k miles. car has had a full service recently, oil change/fluids. what comes next? how long does the clutch usually last for in this car. Many thanks in advance.

    Normal driving, I'd guess 16 to 20,000 miles for a clutch. Less if you always drive in auto.

    You can get about 25k miles out one if you are lucky. I just replaced mine here at 56k for about 3500.00 USD. A couple of things you should never do if you want it to last longer: Never back up hill, the clutch never engages fully in reverse so you will burn it nicely and don't run the car in stop and go traffic, it's really hard on the clutch. Other than that it's better to run it hard, enjoying slow shifts puts more wear on the clutch so get into when you can and if you want it to be even better you need to check out the drive by wire from http://www.formuladynamics.com If you are interested in the DBW just call and ask for Jeff Roelands and let him know I sent him your way.
