Do I need to remove the water pump/t-stat housing to get the water hose out of the center valley of the engine?

Trying to get a parts lists together and if I need some gaskets I'd like to order them before I start.

    On your 77?

On a QV pulling the pump is the easy way but on a carbed car I thing pulling the air box is easier.

I assumed I have to pull the air box regardless. I'm just wondering if there is enough room between the carbs to get the hoses out and a new one installed.

    No problem.
Remove the airbox and for the lower one, loosen the clamp, which holds the pipe.

    Best Regards
