I recently bought a non original F40 LM,(see the good value LM thread) and we need to replace the fuel bladders. Seeing as how the bladders have only a 5 or 10 year life and require a major disassembly each time I was thinking of doing in alloy perhaps wrapped in carbon. Anyone have any experience or suggestions here?

the usa versions had aluminum tanks - they never go bad. i am sure somebody makes them in carbon too - altho i dont know what the fuel would do to the carbon after a while.

btw, imo if you want great service for the f40 and dont mind going out of your way, bob houghton's does a great job. russell smith is my man there and he is tops.
