I had a front caliper stick over the winter. I ended up replacing the pads & rebuilding the calipers, but didn't bother with the rotors. This last drive, I noticed vibration braking from faster speeds. I'm pretty sure the one rotor is warped. Two new ones & seals are on their way from GT Car parts.

I cant find any threads about rotor replacement/bearing repacking. I've never done my 308's before. Any hidden issues or nuances I should be aware of? Search turned up nothing.

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the Rotors need turning, probably glazed over due to the pad sticking.I just finished mine, due to the same problem. Now I'm waiting for my seals to rebuild my Master Cylinder. Not a Difficult fix,you can find the bearings and seals at your local NAPA or any Auto Parts place.

The rotors & seals arrived today. Things are a little pricey :(
I'll measure the old rotors, but quite a bit of a lip has formed from normal wear and I suspect they can't be turned. There aren't any groves in it, so that's good. If they can cut, I'll have spares.
I'll start on the project shortly.

Folks, replacing the front rotors & repacking bearings is one of the easier tasks. Especially if you've done any other car.

The two tough parts are getting the outer nut off if its original & they've tapped it in good. Fortunately, mine seems to have been removed once and simply unscrewed.

Second is getting the inner hub un-rusted/un-frozen from the rotor.
I found a PB Blaster soaking & support the rotor over two 2x4 boards & a 5lb York weight over the center hub & hit it with a hammer. It pops out.

THough the only wheel bearing grease I could find in my area was Penzoil 707L Red. It looks a lot like cherry pie filling. But my Corso Rosso Red car LOVED it. It's all about matching. :)

BTW: the rotors I pulled were 20.5mm so the local shop wouldn't cut them. But they insisted on trying to find a listing for an 1983 Ferrari. LOL.

BTW: The inner hub happened to be stamped FIAT with a partial fiat number stamped on it.
