Replacing Half-Shaft Boots

Hi all, it's been a few decades since I've posted and since I spun a couple Dinos on rotisseries. While rebuilding my rear calipers and handbrake mechanisms this week (hat off to Karp Brake and Jeff in Chino, California) I notices that the boots are cracking and, indeed, open in spots at the flex points. Time for new boots and grease.

Must I undo all of the half-shaft bolts and remove the entire wheel mount to slide the new boots on? Please tell me there is an easier way.
