my Lusso V12 is turning 6 years old soon, driven only 8500kms, often only me or 1 companion. ferrari dealer is offering me the last Roma Coupe build slot for 2024 or a 296GTB or a Purosangue late 2024 early 2025 thoughts? The Purosangue though is priced too high and I just got an Urus.

trade offer is around 65% of what i paid for it brandnew. its out of warranty but still has free servicing till 2025.

    Don’t do it.

You’ll be trading down from one of the best n/a V12s ever made to a turbocharged V8 or V6.

Unless you do a lot of sporty driving on smooth twisty roads, the Lusso will be the better car every time.

    I personally couldn’t live without a V12.

I should add that my wife has owned a Cali and I have extensively driven a Portofino (from which the Roma is derived) and 296GTB.

Needless to say, we no longer have the Cali and weren’t remotely tempted by the Roma despite loving the looks. The 296GTB is a hoot to drive but it lacks the versatility of the FF/Lusso.

I’m also guessing that the Lusso is going to suit the Philippine roads somewhat better than the Roma or 296GTB will.

You’ll regret disposing of the Lusso. If you’re really tempted by the newer offerings and money isn’t an issue, buy a Roma or 296 and run it alongside the Lusso. See which one you drive more and sell the one you drive less.

i actually intend to use this Roma/296 as an interim car for the 812 replacement which should be here in 3 years? or perhaps go for a purosangue if i decide to let go of my urus later.

keep the Lusso and I would trade in the urus for the Purosangue. the urus should have been a v10, the Purosangue is such a better truck than the urus, I've driven 3-4 urus's and the Purosangue, night and day with the v12. the lambo is just an Audi, the Purosangue feels like a Ferrari and it's amazing....

Then I see no reason to get an interim car. Just keep the Lusso till you can get your hands on a F167. Financially the 296 and Roma will be a bad operation over 3 years. The Lusso is unique in what it brings and you already took the blunt of the depreciation so it's now much cheaper to keep.
