For reference I have included this link from a previous thread showing the return lines connecting to the fuel tank.

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/137616317-post9.html

I would like to replace these lines with new lines and quick connectors. Can these be sourced via a local auto/industrial supplier?

I assume these connectors , and possibly the line itself are no longer available, any suitable replacement or substitution available?

    Thanks in advance!

Here is a photo from the thread I linked for visual reference.

To be clear I am looking for the black quick connect and attached fuel line you see being removed in this image.

    Good question.

Those vapor recovery connectors should be able to be sourced from a fuel line supplier. I'm gonna have to pull that tank AGAIN and replace it, so I may end up needing those connectors. I haven't tried sourcing them because they didn't crack when I removed the tank the first time. If you find a supplier please let the rest of us know.

Contacted Ti they are a Bulk mfg and lead time is 4 weeks out. It appears that they can match the dimensions of the original quick connect however, it would be cheaper to purchase a complete return line system over a several hundred quick connects.

I will follow up with dimensions and see what they can do , just for giggles...

In the mean time if anyone knows of an off the shelf solution please chime in!

This will be for a couple different Fcars, 355, Mondial T and 348, all seem to have identical connectors.

    Cheers

If you can forward or post the connector dimensions. I will forward them to our shop foreman who makes our custom lines and see if he has a source.

looks roughly 10-12mm od 6-8mm id and 30mm fron the stem to the retainer.

Same crap, but this time spot welds on the top popped out. I have a tank waiting to be installed, I'm just gonna wait to do it when I drop the engine for the major.

If someone can confirm a source we should put it in both the 348 and 355 DIY threads.

    Ernie,

Did you ever pull your tank? I'd like to know what size those connectors are on the vapor lines so I can order them while the car is garaged for the winter.

    Thanks.
