    I've replaced my shift knob with one of Hill Eng.'s but I'm wonder how to adjust the stick so the shift knob screws on tight and properly aligned. The stop looks adjustable to me.

    Yes, the locknut that is underneath the knob can be adjusted so that the new knob will align up however you wish it to. Simply adjust the shift knob until it faces the way you want it, then tighten the nut. Simple.
