I have the lower window seal to replace on my 81 308 GTSi as it has split near the door handle. It's the seal that runs from the door handle past the door mirror. Seals the door against the glass.

Mr Fiat has the seals and I can get the part number if I haven't described it clearly.

    Hope someone can help.

    Cheers

    Dave

I would guess that these guys (Cicognani Guarnizioni) supply the market. I dealt with them years ago without a problem.

    Andy,

Thanks for the info, do you have any fitting information?. Pull old one out and push new one in?

    Cheers

    Hi Dave,
you'll have to give me some clues as to what piece you are referring to but the 'weather-stripping' that creates a seal between the glass and the door is riveted on.

    Regards
    Andy

Be careful. Mr Fiat stuff is cheap aftermarket stuff.

That piece is riveted to the top of the door. You can either drill holes through the new piece to line up with the existing holes - which is pretty tricky.
Or you can clamp the new piece to the door and drill through both and then push the rivet in. The only downside is the risk of going too far with the drilling and coming out via the door skin. (don't ask...)

Thanks Andy, I think I will leave it to the experts.
