    I have never driven in such horrendous rain -- and that was just the trip to the hotel on Thursday night! We got a late start and decided to have dinner at Layla before we left. Of course, that meant driving in terrible, terrible rain. Terrible rain. At least there was VIP Ferrari Parking.

    Anyway...

    John survived his first day of Driver's Ed with the Ferrari Owners Club, Northeast Region. He got off to a bit of a shaky start thanks to some questionable instructing, but settled in nicely. In one day, he has shown noticeable improvement (or so sayeth the instructors). He's driving more consistently through turns 9, 10, and 11 -- which is the hardest part of the track. He's having a good time and with all the Ferrari patches on his suit, he looks like a Chinese Schumaker.

    As for me, well, let's just say I went on a minor agricultural tour this morning...
