Ok, so here's the deal. You ALL have to come to the next Ferrari Owners Club event. Seriously. Hardcore. Vik? Lupe? Hubert? John? Rob? Keith? Sam? Clyde? Noah? Notoboy? That new guy with the Spider that I have not met yet? No lie. At the very least, watching John get intimidated by a bar full of LPGA players is well worth the price of admission.

Uh oh, I've said too much.

Today was a great day. The weather was perfect. The track conditions were excellent. The crowd thinnned a tad and the run groups went from 25 minutes to 40. John continued to make stellar progress. After his best run, he came in with 375° calipers. Very impressive. I'm pretty sure he had a good time -- up until the part where the red Challege car broke down and the session was black flagged.

It's interesting to see how much stuff you can stuff into a 355. I got all this stuff, plus a hose and two duffell bags filled with stuff. John was happy I had that oil -- he had almost none when I checked it this morning. The fule cart, though, was probably the most expensive car there -- just because it hauled SO much fuel for days. At $8 a gallon from 112 it adds up fast. Especially ehen you consider that the Challenge cars run through a half a tank in one session.

Of course, you cannot end the weekend without showing off a little for the ladies... and when John dons his go-fast suit, he gets all the hotties.

Looks like you guys had a FANTASTIC time! I am SO envious.

Next time, I will definitely have to be there. When is the Lime Rock weekend again so I put it on my calendar?

    David

P.S. My 355 should be fixed in 4 weeks and counting...

So what are you going to do with it when it is fixed? Still selling it?

I'm still up in the air, keep the 355 or sell it... keep it or sell it... sell it or keep it...

Don't know yet. Thing is that I think I've fixed ALL of the problems it has had over its lifetime, so it's be a shame not to keep it now that its perfect.
