I have my foot in it an awful lot so not a good barometer to gauge off me but I think I am around 13mpg. Lots of City and traffic so far.

Doing say 8000 mls a year at 20 mpg uses 400 gallons (uk) = 1800 liters @ £1.25 per ltr =£2250 per year. It sounds like the average overall consumption is around 14 mpg so would cost £3215 per year......so less than a grand.....no point in even considering it as some sad losers pay that for a trip round the block of another kind.

This is the best (worst;) rationalization I be seen today in the FF section lol. I'm paying about 800€ a month more for fuel than I would in my Previous DD. At 3000-3500km per month. It's worth it!

Filled up Friday morning at 1000 then again in the afternoon after 213 kilometers. 34 l/100km or 6.9mpg. All autobahn from picking up the car at the dealer after 3 weeks. Lighting in the tach went out so it had to be sent to Italy. Repaint of the front bumper and hood after winter driving and clear wrap install. Worst tank yet.

Supposedly around 22 gallons. Most I've ever put in, at the point where the display indicated it was too low to give a range anymore, was a tad over 20 gallons.

New to this forum, so hello to everyone!

Bought a Ferrari FF recently and am monitoring fuel use. From my driving behavior to date I think I can say something about the lowest attainable use. I am getting used to the car, so have only driven in auto-mode. Mostly highways, with speeds of up to 180, little bit of speeding in Germany and relatively minor contribution of inner city driving. No serious accelerating thus far. I have managed 1 on 6 (between 6,00 km/l and 6,32 km/l) over 3500 km.

I have the impression that I am used to the car now, thus will switch to manual gear selection etc. one of these days. Will let you know how the figures will change.

    Best, Wieger

    Best I ever achieved was 18 MPG = 15.7 litres per 100 kms or 6.37 km/l

    Worst somewhere around 8 MPG = 35.3 litres per 100 kms or 2.83 km/l

    Thoroughly enjoyed every mile.....

    This is a first...a thread concerning V12 gas mileage....:D
I have basically accepted the fact that after I start my F12, the next step is a trip to the gas station before I set off on my drive....

Isn't mileage mostly dictated by displacement? If that's the case, wouldn't it be similar to other passenger cars of this era with similar displacement? Would the number of cylinders make any difference?

    24 gallon tank.

I get a dozen or more smiles per mile. And probably 10-15 miles per gallon depending.

Got 17 MPG once in the highway at 70 MPH on Pit Speed. Seemed like a waste of a perfectly good Ferrari

KNOKKi it's impossible to do wrong in AUTO, just start using the paddles when you like, and let it take over when you're done. Then you can drop the AUTO if you really want to drive it.

I believe that DCT is supposed to improve fuel mileage a bit compared to older sequential transmissions.

I think direct injection improves on mileage compared to the older multi-port fuel injection.

If and when hybrid tech arrives that will help too.

Just checked for this winter I got average of

    30 l/ 100km in town, crawling around
    17 l/ 100km around on highways at 120-130km/h
    25 l / 100km on highway around 180-200 km/h
interestingly in proper snow outside built up areas, with manettino on ICE I get around 25l/100km

    hope this helps

Wow, that's around 14 mpg. I would think the mpg would be higher than that.

    Hey Ottaki,

with gearbox in manual its 17 litres, in auto with pit lane its probably about 20% less.
I do not have many flat highway bits near me, which may explain it

    700 kms on highway btw 120 and 170 km/h = 13.9 l / 100 km
    320 kms (230 km highway 130-140 km/h + 90 km light city driving = 17.9 l / 100 km
    suprisingly good numbers
