14000 miles later my GTC4 Lusso feels much looser, more responsive, spools up more quickly and surprisingly now in sport mode will return nearly 20 mpg on a cross France Autoroute run. Happy with that.
About 3000 miles in my 2012 FF. Mostly manual mode, lots of city. 8mpg. Just can't help letting that v12 rev. Sounds soooooo good!
Actually no real surprises here. Drive the car having fun = poor mileage, city driving same result, highway cruising reasonable mileage. Who among all the FF owners bought the FF really expected good mileage out of a V12? Does the information above effect any potential buyer decision matrix on the purchase? I am going to guess - not. Does any Fcar get good mileage if driven the way we all want to drive them if there were no speed restrictions, I think not.
We made the first 10 thousand kms together. Bought her on 1st of June i.e. it took less than 5 months. September: the yearly service and 4 new Michelins + new Varta. Zero issues until now, average consumption is 16.58 liters / 100 km. Love her, great maschine !
What?! You do not use your engine like I do - I am about 8500 km and so far average seems to be 19 liters / 100 km. I do not know how to get better fuel economy without using my right foot...
true....but i live in dense speed cam areas..... ff is surprisingly more efficient than my ex 456m gta. in similar league than panamera turbo.....but much much more fun ! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Here are my data over last 40k. The order is as follows: date - k's on counter - fuel intake - k's driven since last refill - avg consumption - price per liter paid in euro's - country (if not NL) I am no DD, do not commute with the car, no city driving, little B-ways (it is a GT after all), only (relatively) long streches (>100 k), little serious acceleration, mostly in comfort mode, usual speed somewhere between 130-180 km/h, cheapest fuel possible (now mostly E10) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
