    Could just be a test mule for now.
    I'm no expert, but I don't think the new bodywork/exterior design for the next F430 replacement would be being tested at this point in time.
    However, some of the new mechanical components could be in various test mules, I would think.

    I suspect the new body design is hidden deep in a place like Pininfarina's studios at the moment.

    At least, that seems to have been the recent trends with the 612, 599, and California GT.
    They don't seem to put the new body work on the new mechanicals until right before they announce the new car is coming.

    There was a post about this. It is one of the custom coach jobs according to those in the know, which is to say not me.
