It's ben a couple of years since I have been into what is now Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale, but under its previous ownership, as Shelton Ferrari it was an awesome place. I never purchased a car there, but on my visits to Florida I was always welcomed warmly when I stopped in to browse, especially by Benn Coreale one of the sales people. Benn always showed a high degree of knowledge and professionalism and is just flat out a very nice guy. If I had been in the market for a car, working with him would have been a serious consideration. In fact, a couple of years ago I did refer a close friend to him. The service manager, Joe Yuliano, is also a superb guy with great knowledge of the older classic cars, as well as superb ability on the new and current models. Again, Joe is a wonderful guy who has true passion for these cars and a strong commitment to his customers. I also have a couple of friends who have purchased cars there over the years under the Shelton ownership and have always been very happy.

thanks for the info. I find the people there to be very nice and a pleasure to deal with but have not bought from them before and since i am new to this, i wanted feedback from previous customers.

If the size of the $20K deposit is roughly 10% +/- of the purchase price, it's acceptable and somewhat normal % wise I'd think.

I bought a Maserati about 3 months ago from Ferrari/Maserati of FLL. They were very fair..As fair as a car dealer can be.. but they were always friendly, did the right thing.. have gone by far beyond what Mercedes (after 3 purchases) ever did in terms of customer service. They send out e-mails, letters, invites to functions etc. to stay in touch to be sure you are happy with the car. So far I have been impressed. Impressed enough to look at a Ferrari California.
