Hey guys, anyone have (good) first hand experience with a reputable ferrari shop in the orlando/kissimmee FL area? New to the area and could really use some help on this one. Thanks in advance!

Ferrari of Central Florida did my major 3 years ago. Dealer pricing, but they did pick up the car and turn it around in a reasonable amount of time. No major issues since. I've fixed several other minor issues and haven't found any evidence of shoddy work during the major.

If you are anti-dealer, there are a few independents I've heard of but I don't have experience with them.

I used Tim Stanford in Ft. Lauderdale previously. Comes well recommended as an independent.
(I know its not Central FL per se, but within 1.5 hrs from Orlando, I'd think).

Thanks for the recommendation. Afraid I won't be going BACK to Tim Stanford. My car was purchased in S. Florida and he did the PPI and I had him do the 30K and replace the center (melted) air vent before shipping it to my CA house. When the car arrived, the vent had been replaced without the alarm LED being inserted (just a small hole in my dash now (thanks alot :-<) and after running hotter than hell on the first drive, I took it to a local auth. f-car place in so cal. They found a laundry list of problems that should have been found by a blind man with the engine removed for the 30k...not the least of which was a torn cv boot. In fact, per their inspection of the car..a new timing belt was practically the only sign that anything had been done to the engine! I'll give them(stanford) the benefit of the doubt and assume that some new mechanic was doing the work on my car but I will NEVER go there again. I don't go anywhere without a good referal and had one for this place...sorry but I can't recommend this place and SOUTH Florida (unlike central/orlando) just has too many choices to risk going back there. Thank you again for your response, Orlando is a bit of a drive to miami/ft. lauderdale. I guess being from so. cal has spoiled me (practically tripping over f-car service shops there comparatively speaking). btw, I did not mention the name of any other repair shop because I'm sure there is someone out there just aching to accuse me of having some agenda or working for a competing shop/business. Thank you again for the replies/help. I may have to go to the Miami area in the end but would really like to find a place closer by in case I have an "unplanned" service stop and need to have it towed. I tried posting on the "florida" section and did get one(much appreciated)response but it only mentioned a dealership and independent that is about 70 miles away.
