I did some searching and couldn't really find a thread with many examples. I'd like to see some pics of either car with nice wheels on them if anyone wouldn't mind sharing. Thanks!

I have done some research for my own 550, and it has been a long search... I ended up with wheels from Dimex/Imola.

Dimex Group in Germany provide tuning parts for many Ferrari, Maserati, Jaguar, Porsche, Lamborghini models. Their Imola Racing division is dedicated to Ferrari tuning, and here's the weel designs they offer:

I know many others (also in this forum) favour the Novitech design, while that design (if I can express my humble opinion) is borrowing too much from the Enzo wheels, which I think belongs to Enzos only. And they are not available in 20". Of course, respectfully: this is a matter of taste.

Anyway, I found it hard to find any wide selection for the 550.

I also evaluated som Le Mans-style multispoke-wheels from Hamann in Germany, model FM/5 from Fikse, and several designs (e.g. model 549R, 844R) from HRE in USA. Why none from the latter, perhaps because polished wheels ain't the choice in Europe - I don't know. Search and check their websites for pictures.

My immediate reaction to the first pictures of the Dimex/Imola Racing CHALLENGE wheel model on a Maranello, was that they harmonized with this car's design and expressed what Maranello is competent for, but sadly too modest about. Thus, I have ordered 20" Imola Racing Challenge wheels, Imola sport springs and Pirelli tires for my rosso corsa 550. Dimex recommended NO spacers, but my car buddies and I will let the car pose on the catwalk, and judge.

Here in Norway, we'll probably be bothered with snow, ice and treacherous salt on all roads way into late March, so it is a long wait until I can test drive...

Well, I just needed a coffee break, now back to work. Hope I have been of any timesaving help, and good luck in your quest!
