So here is a bit of a Hail Mary.....I got a call today from the organizer, and he wanted to know if I knew of anyone with a 50s or early 60s Ferrari who might be interested in showing or displaying at The Highlands Motoring Festival. We have GTE, 330, Daytona, Boxer etc but nothing earlier like say a Lusso, 166, or any other of the dozens of other great early models entered.

Although the event is near, June 8-11th, please consider entering and visiting. I think you will like the area. Great roads, people, and climate. And cars....who knows, you might even make Highlands a new favorite destination.

"Highlands has been a mountain respite for over a century, allowing our visitors to unwind while being treated to the finest amenities. Highlands is one of the highest towns east of the Mississippi River, with an elevation at 4,118 feet. It's also located in one of the few temperate rainforests in North America. While this mountain resort town along scenic drive Highway 64 only has a year-round population of 3,200, it swells to over 18,000 in the summer. It's located only ten miles from Cashiers."
