I am having difficulty getting the OBD modules to reset after a battery change on my 16M. After the new battery installation, and on its first drive, the first five modules reset in the first 10 miles. Unfortunately, the EVAP and AIR modules have failed to reset even after over 60 miles of driving. In its present state, the car will not pass New York State inspection. They require all but one module to be reset. What can I do? Just drive the car more with an expired inspection sticker, and hope that one of these modules will reset on its own? Does a dealer or service department have a SD3 or Leonardo tool that can magically reset these modules. The really frustrating part is that absolutely nothing is wrong with the car. The CHECK ENGINE light has never come on. Has anyone out there experienced this? What am I missing?

Every manufacture has different cycles. Most do need a cold start and some idle time as well
I pasted a link to the process for a 360/575m which seem to work for others with a 430 after some attempts
Eventually it will complete without doing any special process but it may take weeks and 100 miles etc
I was told in NJ that if you get pulled over with the falled inspection due to not ready state you should not get a ticket - not sure how a certain NYC officer will react if you show the reason you failed

Thanks for the help with the link to ferrariworkshop. I downloaded the procedure and printed it to take with me, and it worked the first time. Victory over the machines. The 16M just passed New York State inspection with flying colors. The EVAP module still hasn't reset, but now I DON'T CARE. Thanks again. You were a lifesaver.
