I've been in the market for a 360 Spyder the last few weeks and trying to sort out the landscape with respect to which colors are considered hot (aka higher resale) vs not. What I've gathered thusfar is that you can't go wrong with red/tan or black on black, but past that it appears to be a bit fuzzier on resale value of other colors.

Any colors that are a must to avoid or that would sell for considerably less 3-4 years from now. Further, how much less would you expect to pay for say a Nart Blue or Calif Azura Blue?

    paul,

if you are basing your decision purely on color, please dont, thats not what these cars are about, and if you compromise you will regret it later on
that said, in the CS market now, red cars are actually selling LOWER than colors such as argento nurburg, titanium, black etc cause there are so MANY of them! a situation that I could see with the 360 with 17000 cars produced.

I say - Go with what you like, dont think about resale, itll all work out

Great advice and actually, I'm now seeing some 03 and 04 red Spyders on Ebay with no reserve which look like the may go off as low mid $170's, which is wildly low for these cars and with low mileage:

    paul,

pretty unlikely those cars will transact at those prices. ebay is advertising and deals are made on the side. a new 04 spider should be near [<10 over] window right now. some in the ads here very close

Spoke with a friend who is a wholesale broker a couple weeks ago to tell him about my new Stradale.

He had just consigned an '03 360 F1 spider titanium/black with 4000 miles to a Ferrari dealer for $185k.

Amazes me that Ebay does not extoll a higher price for sellers where their cars are put up time and time again, never meeting reserve, but serving as a terrific advertising medium.

Red is for resale, no question. However, I think yellow does command more money because there are fewer cars in that color. I don't like black on the 360 but love it on other models. Lots of people like the silver colors on these cars but that is not as sporty to me but I do like them.

I just bought my red/tan. I have no regrets. Rosso Corsa was always my childhood dream. But silver is nice too. Red gets a lot of attention though.
silver might blend in more. Buy the one that calls you.....its a personal relationship you build
