    Hello !

Considering the number of top experts on this (extremely interesting) forum, I hope that I will get some help on this...I'm looking for information about #18085.

I have gathered some basic information already :The Red Book says it was sold new to Giuliani in Italy, 307/277. It was sold by Coys in 2014, with greek registration (I don't know the selling price).
More information, engine number, old pictures, would be most welcome ; by the way I'd like to know where are the numbers (chassis, engine, etc) on this rare model.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    Who me :)

I believe it sold for €85,000 at the Coys auction in Athens.
    Engine number is F101AC000*00898*.
The chassis number should be visible on top of the steering column and on a plate on the inner wing. It will also be stamped on the body near the chassis plate.
The engine number is stamped on the block, not far from the windscreen scuttle.

    Hope this helps.
    David

Thank you very much indeed for your prompt response !
This model is still not recognised as it should. The Lamborghini Espada and the 365 GT4 2+2 are two fascinating 4-seater early "supercars"... Fioravanti set a new standard of elegance, and, a little like the BB, this understated shape takes time to be understood.
    Your help is highly appreciated.
Btw : do we know (or is there an easy way to know) the original colour scheme ?

I don't know the original colour scheme but I suspect the paint is not original; it should have a black painted rear panel not body colour.
A friendly Ferrari dealer can contact the factory archives and provide the information you are looking for.

Excellent, thank you very much to both of you for these comments.
I confirm that the paintwork has been redone. How can one determine that the engine is matching, since, if I'm not wrong, chassi and engine # are not the same, and on these cars it is not indicated on the chassis plate ?

In order to be sure it has its original engine, you will need to obtain the original engine number from Ferrari and check it against the engine in the car. However, the engine fitted to 18085, which I understand to be number 898 is in the correct range - for example 899 is fitted to 17957, 909 is fitted to 18175. Chassis and engine numbers were not matched sequentially, so it's not uncommon that the next 365 by chassis number may have a lower engine number than the previous chassis number but they are normally within a narrow number span. 365 GT4 2+2s engine numbers are in the approximate range of 600 - 1120.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot, David, yes it helps very much.
I understand, and following your advice, I will investigate to check this engine number.
    Have a nice day.
