Researching original factory options

Does anyone know of a source to research a particular car by VIN# for a build sheet or original sticker? My car has a carbon front spoiler that the original owner claims was ordered on the car new. I was able to dig through the doc's that came with the car and locate the original owner. Nice guy and we had a conversation at length about the car. He no longer had any paperwork but said some did exist showing the lip installed on the car when it came into the country... is this something FoNA could verify
