That looks like an in-line fuse not a resistor.

That is what I tough also at first,
But in fact it is a voltage stabiliser for the instruments and takes a resistor.
These are use in Ferrari , Alfa, Fiat ...
Just got to find one now.

Which car is the first photo taken in?
I don't recognize those panels or angles as being a Dino and can't find your item in the parts book

This is taken from a Fiat dino Spider 2.4, this resistor is also used on the 206 and 246
It connects to 246 Veglia gauge

I have 3 nos resistor/fuses that look just like the one in your picture. The Fiat part number is 4036697. FIAT SPIDER PARTS shows them at $6.85 if it is the correct fuse. Might check your parts manual first.

In the case of the Fiat Dino Spider 2.4 built alongside the 246
This resistor appears to be for water temp gauge.

    Thanks HMB_Dino
The color is Azzuro Blue Metalic, Dino color
Choosing a color was difficult. Silver was my second color. I drove it today 24 of December. What a car! Someone offered me a Ferrari Dino as a trade.
    I am not sure yet.

First of all your car is really stunning, all beautiful to my eyes.
Second, dont do it, this car is way more fun than the Ferrari Dino, although they are beautiful also.
You really picked the best color.

For days I have been agonizing if I should consider a Ferrari Dino plus cash as a trade.

One side of me says why not it's the car that you missed. It's sexy and a car that is appreciated by many.

The other side tells me there are less than 20 2.4 spider in the USA. Not to mention I just spent two years restoring the car to conditions that makes the car enjoyable.

After driving my car for two weekend now. I can honestly say that it's coming to life and it feels like a baby Ferrari with a top down.

    It's simply amazing.

I know this is a very old thread - but can anyone tell me where this is located on a Ferrari Dino - have a problem with gauge fluctuations and can't find a regular voltage stabiliser! Thanks.
