I’ve ended up in Hilton Head for a couple of days. Haven’t been here in years. Any seafood or local restaurants people like? Thanks.

Head over to Savanah and pop in Andy Greens shop...on the way back, stop in to see us in Anderson/Clemson/Sunset. I think you have a boat if I recall. I did something stupid, I let the prices of 60 foot slips triple within the last 4 months. Can you believe it? The were selling for 95 to 125, 165k. Now hitting 300k. Dumb, dumb, dumb on my part. That tank came our of Toby Beans 500 Mondial. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I've had several meals with an old friend who is a regular at Ombrah. Pretty good.

We used to visit HHI two or three time a year.
We've enjoyed many fine meals at the following:
    Skull Creek Boathouse
Jazz Corner (one of our all-time favorites, live jazz, excellent food).
    Wiseguys
    Sage Room
    Ombra
    The Studio
We went to the Vine twice. First time - GREAT. Second time awful.
    Stacks - great for breakfast.
Cowboy Brazilian Steakhouse (better be hungry!) - next to the Jazz Corner

Appreciate all the tips and local knowledge! Regrettably, we didn't go out for a good dinner because we were having too much fun but I'm saving the recommendations for next time.
The backstory is that we were in Atlanta in the early '90's and used to go to Hilton Head all the time but that's the last time we were there. We saw they had a good slice of weather so we decided to drive over from Asheville for the helluvit to get some beach time. Stayed in Sea Pines at a condo looking right down the fairway. 10 minute walk to the beach. No riff raff. The beach is just wide, flat and barely occupied in the mornings. No boom boxes. Just chilled out. Walked a bunch, smacked the white ball and rode bikes. Didn't get further on dinner than a good cheese plate and some decent wine. Went to a tourist place, skull creek, to watch the sunset and had some really good PEI oysters. Usually that's a risky move but these were great .
Definitely on our rotation of fun things to do when living in Asheville.

Wish I had caught this when you first posted. We have an informal C&C 1st Saturdays at The Lucky Rooster on the main drag. We had a few Ferraris here today.
Tons of restaurants that are excellent. New one in the last year is Nunzios. https://nunziohhi.com/menus
Do come back for the Concours! November 5-6-7. A few F-Chatters get together.
