    Good day all,

    Will be back in NYC for the first time in many years, and I would appreciate a few recommendations for both Italian and Indian restaurants. My preferences are NOT for Michelin Star-type, rather for authentic and flavorful, best in class type (non touristy).

    Carmine’s (in 44th) is great and has a very fun atmosphere. Recommend the seafood linguini. It’s “family style” - one seafood linguini will feed four. There are two locations, the one on broadway is dark and subdued, 44th is always a party.
