1120278 is undergoing conversion back from S spec to original. I have attached a few photos. I need some assistance from owners of LP 400's.

    1. can someone measure the distance between the front wheel arch at the top edge sill to the leading edge of the door gap and similarly the lower edge of the arch to the door gap
    2. The distance along both top edge and lower edge from the front wheel arch right along the sill the the front leading edge of the rear arch
    3. I also need the width of each lip of both the front and rear guards. I am curious as to whether the lip is the same width at the front and rear edges as well as the middle top end of the guards. I assume the width is the same from one edge to the other
    4. lastly any photos showing the areas with measurements would be great

    Thanks in advance!

Pardon me talking out of my butt here...

Wouldn't it be easier to see if someone can make some sort of template off of an unmolested LP400?

That's a great idea because if the 'shape' of the 'speeding' rear wheel arch is even slightly off, discriminating eyes can tell. With such a pure body with flowing lines as an LP400 has, the effect may be slightly ruined. It has to be right. A full-size template.

Thanks Roy I have all parts needed.
Close up photos of your guards and some measurements would be appreciated.
The templates are one thing but I am checking and double checking for accuracy

I just saw your thread but would be happy to take measurements, etc. Our 1120004 underwent similar repairs using factory rear quarters and templated front fenders.
