Other marques have sources and catalogues for restoration or repair exterior body panels such as wheel arches, and rocker panels etc.Does anyhting like this exist for Mondials? An absolute must if considering current or future rust and or accidents. Major thanks to anyone out there.....

I WISH there was a "year one" or "jeggs" catalogue for Ferrari bu alas, We are forced to by sick money for original (since there are no copies available) parts from Ferrari

Unfortuntely most of the body panels they have are for 308GT4's. A few may be interchangeable though?

There are some places that do fiberglass panels, door skins, front fenders etc.

Thats probably not what you are looking for though

You might be limited to the dealer, particularly the ferrari UK for stuff. I bought door skins as well as countless other parts from them for my 308GTB. Mondial stuff probably isnt popular enough for the repro industry so make it or buy new. I had to fabricate the heels of my 308 fenders becasue I had no other source. Post a few pics of the problem area and maybe we can make better suggestions. GT4 and mondial wont interchange however.

Eddie Walsh is the man behind it. I have had no personal dealings with him but did hear good reports when I was buying my car 8 years ago.

Some of the parts are a bit pricey but you may be able to get a deal.

I have not (yet) had the need for Mondial body panels, but I do worry about it since I frequently drive my Mondial through bad DC traffic. I will look into having fiberglass panels, door skins, front fenders, bumpers etc. produced if I find evidence that there is at least some kind of market for it. I have no issues with fiberglass...just want the car to keep looking good.

I've dealt with Eddie in the past for some 308 & 400 bits, nice guy, the parts fit reasonably (not quite as good as Ferrari UK's bits), the only downside as always was price, with some things costing more than genuine parts from Ferrari UK, Eddie however does make repair panels wich are great for localised repairs

As for mondy bits, were pretty much limited to Ferrari Uk, there are a few bits however that any sheet metal shop can make (sills for example) very little

Edie, IMO, is a pure rip off, he overcharges for all of his parts. Dealt with him once, and did not pay any attention to what I had ordered vs. what he sent to me, had to send the entire order back to him.

Interesting to hear - his prices always seemed steep but I assumed that some negotiation would be possible. If I did ever deal with him, he is not too far away and I would go in person (especially after your comments)

He does a lot of repair panels (i.e. lower door skins etc) in my (limited) experience most self respecting body shops would produce themselves.
