I didn't have any other pics of my car before the conversion...but here is one of a '78 that should show you the difference if you look close. In the picture, you will see a line on the front bumper. That line is now over an inch deep within the front of my car.

Your car looks awesome, I love it. Like your mats too, mine are the same except the cavallino is red. Congrats!

Love the 308. Not a fan of the 348 wheels though on it..

Thanks now I can see what you are talking about. Funny thing is in the pictures I do not mind the US bumpers ... but I guess in the flesh it looks a lot better tucked in properly.

    Nice car.

What a nice car you have there !

The GTS is no doubt in a class of its own.

    Congratulations.

They hang out pretty far in stock US location.

Lots of folks push 'em in as Step 1, here in US.

Shouldn't be too far in, IMO. They are supposed to work as protection for the front hood and exhaust tips!!

It looks a bit strange, but at the same time nice. I'd take them off b/c those rims look too new for that car. I'd stick w/328GTSi rims.

    I love your 308 GTS!!
Having 348 wheels on a 308 will not hurt the handling of the car a bit?
But sure looks nice in my opinion.

    Do you speak french?

Answer #1 - No. As a matter of fact, with more rubber on the ground the car holds a line much better then before.

    Answer #2 - very little. ;)

    Hi Jonny,
Beautyful restored. Everything looks fresh and yummy. How about the engine?
Did you have it restored as well?
Your euro front bumper is same as mine but the rear is a little different. My 308 is 1976 Euro car.

Internally, the engine had a rebuild about 2k miles before I bought it. I replace wires etc. added a K&N filter and cleaned it up. The bumpers are not Euro...just 'adjusted' US bumpers. ;)

BTW - Your car is absolutely gorgeous!
