Restoring 308 Bumpers

    Of course I had to dry and 'blow the dust off' before each coat of primer and color. I used a clean rag with clean water and compressed air to make sure the bumpers were clean and dry. As far as driving the car to do that, the bumpers were off the car when I painted them so driving the car wouldn't have helped!
    Actually I drove the car up and down the street last weekend for the first time in 4 years! The car was subject to a complete, nut and bolt restoration which is finally almost finished. Just a few hundred small things to take care of and get the interior finished and off I go.

    I'll go over everything and see if i got the guts to do it.

    And like you said if i screw up i'll just take it to a body shop. :)
