Restoring matte black lowers (348, Testarossa, etc.)

    I swear I searched this forum before posting my question but maybe I am just not using the correct keyword(s) and came away empty-handed.

    Over the course of the years (decades!) the black-painted lowers of my 348 are beginning to fade a bit - as one would expect with any car that age. I am referring to the lower portion of the front + sides + rear bumper that are painted black over a coarse texture. I am posting a picture (not my car) just to illustrate the areas I am referring to:

    Short of repainting those areas (which isn't my preferred solution) could anyone recommend a product that would restore them to a reasonable measure of their original matte black and doesn't need to be applied after every car wash?
