Sure is a fast place to lose it! That spin allowed you the win did it not John?

Not sure if the spin was in the race or during one of the run sessions.

Nonetheless it was a great event enjoyed by all and blessed with absolutely perfect weather! My brother was one of the instructors and he continously commented how much fun the participants were having on track.

That incident didn't happen during the race....but he was at speed when the blowout occurred. The driver had maintained terrific control of his car.

I finally was able to sort through all of my Ferrari Challenge car pics. Here is a link to them:http://picasaweb.google.com/horsepower1987/RetiredFerrariChallengeCarsAtDaytona2009?feat=directlink

PM me your email and I'll send you pics of your car. It was great weekend and it was spectacular seeing all of the Challenge cars at Daytona. Thanks! West

photos are great. Especially of ones of race.

This race and all of the others like it, prove that the FCA can host races that are fun and safe!

Just wanted to post a quick message.

My name is John Hendrick, professional motorsports photographer, 20+ years exp, etc.

I ended up working the event for the promoters, providing trackside services as I had some down time since most of the racing series I work with have finished up for 2009.

Images are available for review & purchase at:

I believe we had 12 or 13. I'm hoping we can double it next year.
