I believe it is possible. But I also would imagine its going to be considerably more expensive than had it been installed at the factory. Perhaps the dealership will cut you some kind of a break here?

Funny enough you might actually find it already on your car, I thought it was pretty much a mandatory option. On a side note, its cool for about the 30 seconds people in the passenger side realize its there. Other then that I completely forget its there and so do they. See what its like without it because I didn't have it on my FF and never missed it and I have on the Lusso and its rarely used. The only thing the passenger can do (that maybe matters) that they can't do on the main NAV panel, right beside them, is look at your speed, gear, g-force.

Considering the cost for this small useless gimmicky piece of low res screen, I make a point at turning it on every time I get in the car, even when alone!
My regular passengers know they need to click the button, lol
(note: it's actually quite nice looking at night with all the other screens on)

The strange thing is that you need to reach over on the Lusso to turn the display on and in the 812 is just comes on...

I wonder if there is an option to power the passenger display on at startup in some sort of hidden “service/settings” menu?

I don't know what it would cost. I would ask your dealer.

Totally worthless IMO....my car has it.....it would be cool if it automatically came on but you pretty much have to tell someone "look at this, isn't it cool?", turn it on, and show them how to use....

Out of all options on the car I like carbon fiber the most because it's always "on" and "in your face".

    well done.

    It does make a difference.

My interior is cuoio. If I had to change my spec, I would take the steering wheel in cuoio as it really shows off the CF of the SW, while black on CF does not stand out.

i have it on my 812sf, did not option it for the lusso thats coming.
i think its only cool for the passanger to see the speed monitor other than that its useless.
also it does not automatically opens when u start ur car...
plus the lusso has a big center screen which the passanger can play with unlike the 812 488 etc. 2 screen seems redundent.
