    Important heads up to those coming to Retromobile.

    The huge farmers protest will be blockading Paris with tractor convoys starting tomorrow.

    So, if you are flying in, from Roissy CDG or Orly take the train NOT the bus or taxi.
    If you are driving from elsewhere in Europe suggest you leave your car at a train station an hour from Paris and take the train, Chantilly for example if you are coming from the north.

    If you ignore this you will bitterly regret it, staying stuck for endless hours on blocked highways, no food, no toilets, no escape and you will miss the show.

    I am taking the TGV bullet train to Paris to on Tuesday, leaving Thursday. Neither the trains nor the Paris metro should be affected. Not sure about road traffic inside Paris right now.

    I hope we won't miss important cars carried by trucks headed to Retromobile stuck in these blockades.

    Our flight is arriving on Tuesday afternoon, before the preview of Retromobile starts. I wanted to go by taxi to the hotel, but seeing how the things are going maybe the metro will be the final choice. Thank you for the advice.

    Here is a very nice Retromobile video, by an American who had never attended before so a great perspective for his compatriots who haven't either!:)

    He goes through the cars well, all two hours of it! At the end he goes through the Artcurial auction cars. The RM and Bonhams cars are not seen they were in other locations.
