It's baaaaack! After a year-and-a-half, the tree car is back on the road....somewhat changed. The tyranny of originality is over. Let the fun begin!
On 12/17/13 an evil eucalyptus tree dropped a large branch across my street onto my beloved 348, 82638. The insurance company totaled the car, but I bought it back for "restoration". The entire plan isn't executed yet, but it's getting closer. The car is much lighter with lexan, aluminum interior parts, carbon vestibules, and some other stuff removed. I installed a Brembo big brake kit all around. Future plans include:
Bigger, more obnoxious wing (I love downforce)
    Canards, splitter
355 throttle bodies (I have an old old thread on my setup)
    Snorkel
Removal of fogs in favor of brake ducts
    Roll bar
    Other heresy

Window motors have been removed. That's part of a pulley system for the windows. A nod to old British cars.
Yes. That's the 358LM race car, ex-Ferrari of Washington ch #26 or 27, I don't remember which right now. It's actually a 348 with rear 355 subframe and sheetmetal.

Way to go Bruce. More of us need to have a tree fall on our cars. Do you still have the black 355 that you brought to the last Stoogefest?

I think it needs more to piss off the purists. I vote for a gold kit and 20's

Yep, still got it. Almost done.

Already got some gold. The doubters can watch my taillights. No 20s for it tho, just some r-rubber on 18s.
