Returned Master Security Remote.

Did anyone else get a letter from FoNE returning their master security remote? Apparently due to a policy change they are no longer keeping them. This is fine with me but to just send in it in the mail in a regular envelope without any padding seems like a really bad idea. What if someone stole it? Also how about putting in a box with some packing material? Further, a simple phone call telling me about the policy change would have been nice. I would at least liked the option of picking it up.
