    I finally read this thread. Great idea! And what a community to be a part of. My car has been been through many hands over the years and, of course, no tools or books.

    So, if anyone out there has anything for 9881, please let me know.

    FWIW when I sell, everything that "belongs" with that particular car goes with it.

    This serial number is one digit short; can we get the correct number? Both 102302 and 112302 are 355s (though 102302 is a manual and 112302 is an F1, so it's likely the latter if that's the number that's missing).

    1977 308GTB, euro dry-sump version in Blu Sera with Crema interior. Originally delivered by Auto Becker in Germany. I bought it in June of 2002 from a German dentist.
    It had 98.000 km's on the odometer when I had an accident with it 7 years ago, in May of 2004, on the day of the GP of Monaco. Has been parted out by Eurospares.
    The engine (#(F106A021) 00785) is now in the VS Olio-FIAT-livery grp.IV car built by Kari Makela at MAT in Finland. There are photo's of the car around, I prefer not to be reminded.

    1976 Ferrari 308 GTB owners manual and pouch.
    Comes with all items as shown including the two insert pages.
    Service tear outs are gone until the 15k mile service, then all pages are in after that. All pages torn out are stamped by dealer.
    Also included is an original sales brochure for the same vehicle. This is the brochure that has the yellow cover. Couple of inside pages are shown.
    All items are from a glass 76 GTB #197xx noted in the warranty card.
    Condition is as shown in the pictures.
    Please ask any questions you may have. I have this offered for sale locally as well and reserve the right to end early if I find a local buyer. I will notify the high bidder at the time prior to ending if this occurs to allow them to match local price if they so choose.

    I'm going to look at and probably buy a set of records tomorrow. Seem to be in decent but not perfect shape and the price is right. The seller didn't see a chassis number but I'll see after I get them. If there is a number there I'll post it here and give the owner the docs at cost. If not I'll keep them and they'll go with my car if I ever sell it!

    Purchased ten years ago. A wonderful car with only three owners. In 2000 it was sold to a dealer and then went to an auction house before we purchased it in 2001.

    10299 had all books and many years of paperwork that went "missing" during that one year. Fortunately the tools stayed with the car.

    We have since purchased books - but the car needs to be reunited with its paperwork.

    Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    I didn't finish the above post before hitting send. I was saying it looks like it orginially sold new from Grand Prix Motors in Seattle (now Ferrari/Maserati of Seattle). There is an old registration in the package too from Silverdale, WA in 1989 which about 10 miles from where I live. Interesting stuff!!

    To make this an even more interesting story the old registration also had a somewhat familiar name on it. Ron Cats.......yep turns out to be Roy's brother and the car was registered at his folk's house in Silverdale.

    What a fun story!!

    These persons were based in France (in Paris) until six months ago. I bought them a "sales and service organisation" booklet once and everything has been fine, no problem whatsoever. However, to give a balanced feedback, I have to say that on a french Ferrari forum, two or three persons have a strong resentment towards them, I don't remember exactly why.
    So be forewarned and make your "due diligence". After all, for a complete pouch including missing documents like an original warranty card, you could have to pay some money...

    As for myself, I always have mixed feelings for these kind of sales: I understand the basic principles of business of course, but I cannot but feel that today's legitimate owner of one of these cars should have a way of exercising some priority. I would be upset to discover that a lost piece of history of one of my cars has surfaced again, only to be bought by somebody else.

    I have mixed feelings too, but at least posting this information might give the owners of these chassis a chance to reunite the documents with the car. At a hefty price though!

    Chances are these cars have been parted out anyway. We're not sure if these still exist.

    p.s. I'm lucky that my 308 came with everything still included.

    It was for sale in Fayetteville, GA, 21 May 2008, through Automobiles Holdings. Is that from whom you bought it? If not, check with them to see if they have anything.

    Jack Kenefick was the original owner. On 24 June 1994, Scott Sperbeck sold it to Robert Hartwig of Tacoma, WA. The car was seen in WA as recently as 2004.
