hold up after all that time waiting for a spectacular car thats what comes out the factory? are you serious its just a rebodied lp640. the interior is any different besides the cluster. thats such a let down. if your going to charge 1.5m for a car atleast let it be on the same level as a enzo or a mclaren f1,or atleast a bugatti eb110ss. the zonda not even a million bucks and looks better and im sure is as fast or faster than that.

Well it too late now, but if they had just given the LP640 60 more hp, put that body on it, call it the Murcielago SV and charge a 30% premium over the current car, they could have sold a couple thousand of them...

 

That sure is wild looking, but it's only a "body-kit" over an LP640... so it makes for a cool special edition... but I thought the $1mil+ Lambo would share the engine and gearbox from the Veyron 16.4 because of Lamborghini and Bugatti both being owned by the VW group.

 

PS: What is that Veyron on the bottom of that same article??? Is it updated in any way? The headlights look different.

The stories I am seeing indicate the car is an LP640, just rebodied, absolutely no performance mods and not any lighter than an LP640.

Is it possible to lose $1M USD to depreciation in the first year. Once the body kits arrive (actually, you probably don't need body kits, you might just be able to buy the panels directly...) and you can roll your own 'R' there will be nothing to them at all (save the dash, which may be orderable too...)

The color, truly terrible. Warships/planes are painted the same (albeit without 'sparkles'), it's a sort of camouflage...who wants a camouflaged Lambo?

As someone who feels Lambo is one of the few companies that consistently turns out gorgeous designs I have to say Im dissappointed in this car.

It looks like something Syd Mead would have crumpled and thrown into the garbage pail.

Luckily its still not as fugly as the Veyron...whew

 

I think the Germans were behind this, I dont think the Italians could build something this stupid

I mean even though F is amazingly arrogant, $1M for a body kit w no cf tub, no more performance is truly astounding

I for one like it. Definatly exotic looking (which Lambo has strayed from IMO). But for $1.5 M it had better have hot waffels wating for me every morning.

 

WOW.... is that ever ugly. At approximately 50K per extra unit of horsepower, Lamborghini really seems to know how to take its most wealthy customers for a ride.

 

Are those wheels 100% CF, or just part?

Looks okay, but I'm extremely let down. I was expecting something new.

 

The back looks good, but I think the front looks really bad.
