I can't believe that for the price, the 'Ton did not come with some sort of radar or at the very least a night vision head up display. For crying out loud, Caddy has those, like a 2g option???? Or buy some Russian NVGs and put a bull emblem on them for 400USD. How about a helmet with an inbuilt display???? How about making the skin of the car the same metal as the real F22. How about active aerodynamics and spoilers that adjust for different speeds and not just the cooling flaps. How about some Nitro for "afterburning". Just shows, that the whole "stealth fighter" thing is just an cheap gimmick sold at inflated prices.
As for comments like "Why should Lamborghini care what you think, you are not and will not be in a position to buy one." I know 95% that I will never be able to fork out 1.4 mil for a car. However it is very likely that at some point I will be in a position to afford an entry level Lambo. So my view of the company and it's products IS important and I see Lambo bulding gimmicky cars that are not as good as equivalent Ferrari models all the while turning into "Hyper Audi TTs." The bull is getting tamed.
AS have no Reventon in stock (and most probably could't afford one). Here they act as a broker. Price difference because there is another broker in the chain who also wants to make a profit.
Why would it matter??? Your comment makes 0 sense, so if you don't like the Urraco for instance you won't buy a model that you do like??? The Reventon's are all sold out, their price shouldn't corncern you in the least.
Here's a little vid I made of the Reventon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EHRSL9bwbo#GU5U2spHI_4 -BrianZuk
Hopefully hasn't been posted yet, but many pics, hi res, over here: http://www.stuttgart9.co.uk/upload/showthread.php?t=5087
its a new year please end the nightmare and close this thread of shame. over priced **** box ripp off bull**** scam car
i dont know what the big deal is! the car is one of the nicest looking lamborghinis EVER, i know its just a murcie with a "tack on" body kit, but i think it looks amazing, the liquid film spedometers and odometers are just unreal (epsecially when it switches into the F22 figher mode) the only problem with the car is that its like 1.5 million...ridiculously overpriced, but hey! thats probably why they only made 20 for what its worth, i fully believe this is a "landmark" car for lamborghini (be it a good way or bad way) and everyone that bought it knows what they got into...no one forced them into buying it, so likely it was their own taste that attracted them to the car, i say spot on, and represent ur investment!!
What was that white concept? I have never seen it before. As if this post helps the thread any much. Can you take your hate for this car somewhere else? Or better yet, not reply at all?
Sal, it might be a version of the S132. Also, just ignore the poster above, nothing constructive ever came out of his posts.
+1 I was lucky enough to see the car in the metal at the LA car show and it is absolutely breath taking. Is it overpriced? You bet, but so is any Van Gogh. This is an investment in a very collectible item. And the 20 lucky ones know that.
Perhaps 100 Reventons...any truth to this? http://www.gtspirit.com/2007/12/31/lamborghini-to-produce-80-more-reventons/
and if they make another 80 , the 20 cars value will go down the toilet . at least their not making anymore van goghs . http://www.gtspirit.com/2007/12/31/lamborghini-to-produce-80-more-reventons/
There's no confirmed evidence that they've unloaded the first batch of white elephants. Image Unavailable, Please Login
