I'll let the website tell the details.
Two comments: 1. It's a great day in America when the addition of 25 hp is laughed at as inconsequential. 2. It's a sad day in America when when using a car like this to it's fullest not only gets you a ticket, but probably time in the slammer.
I disagree with the refining part. When a car is refined it is usually to the extent of the r129 vs r230. They probably just did change the airfilter or figured out that one of their intakes was blocked or something retarding some timing?
I think the car was OVERrated before and now it is to a true rating. I think the 04 model is very much the equal of the C-GT or the Enzo.....from what I've heard. The previous years were not even close.
Marvelous vehicle. Seems to be lasting in racing and getting better this year so I dunno why some yanks hate home-grown cars so much. UK tests of the S7 in Autocar and Car magazine have loved it and it doesn't blow gearboxes on the track like the 360.
Saw one at the NY Auto show preview dinner. It's VERY wide. A bit kit car like, well finished, very race car like. It's a bit plastic/fantastic for me. I think the Ford GT looks better and the Maser/Enzo (MC12) blows it away.
Very good point. Eating their young seems to be a pastime around here. In person I think the car is a stunner, the pictures just don't do it justice and there are now 2 of them on the road in this area one is a ruby red metallic that will stop you in your tracks the other is white and just optioned with even more than the other MY GOD what a GOER these cars are. and they Sound wonderful
