Sure he'll let them race. Knowing that Jensen won't be in the hunt.

I see 2015 having 2 potentially interesting parts to it:
    1. Fred versus Jensen and McLaren. I still don't see Alonso as a fit in that team and remember the (what I took as) negative comments from a McLaren engineer in pre 2007 testing about Alonso.
    2. How far back will Ferrari be?

Unfortunately I believe Nico has done a Weber and confined himself to the number 2 role ...

Ron Dennis can say anything he wants to say. I was there watching live and making up my own mind and I have not forgotten. The teammates fought, both were arrogant and over the top and after some bribing, cheating, ranting and paying heavy fines, they were DSQ'd from the constructors and continued to sabotage eachother.

Meanwhile Kimi Raikkonen in his beautiful Ferrari, steady and true, won the most races and won the championship in a brilliant red car. It was perfect.

... signal commonality Mercedes and Red Bull share, essentially two teams in one split straight down the middle, the German side of the Garage and the English side of the garage, in contrast through shear force of the Honda people moving in, McLaren is now trisected amidst the uneasy rubbing together, between the English side of the Garage, and Alonso's Spanish-Italian entourage.

At best, Ron Dennis's grasp is tenuous. Three power brokers on a collision course at the intersection of McLaren and Woking, Ron Dennis in frenzy, desperate to buy back his shares before Alonso's people ratchet down and have him ousted, question looming exactly who's calling the shots, who's really running McLaren, nobody knows.

This is not our grandfather's McLaren. Two old, complacent drivers, the Japanese are going to have a tough time of it, at McLaren this time around - asj.

The last term I would use to describe Alonso is complacent. Nobody pushes a car harder all race long like he does, nobody.

If Raikkonen is such a mediocre driver as some (including yourself) say, then the Ferrari F2007 must be a heck of a car, so I don´t see why they shouldn´t deserve to win. And I don´t want to start the debate about the spygate again.

Anyway, I´ve stopped worrying about "who deserves what" in all aspects of life long time ago.

    Here is Raikkonen sucking:

In a car with terrible top end speed so overtaking was hopeless as Schumacher would just pass him on the straight with DRS easily....so he made sure he passed MSC right after the DRS line (which happens to be just ahead of Eau Rouge):

Entering the final lap, after having started from the back somewhere, battle for the lead:

Even your God says he doesn't suck!

Your own God doing a fair bit of sucking:

There is no denying that Raikkonen has had a terrible season. But to say he sucks is ****ing ignorant. Chilton, Ericson, Magnussen and Maldonado, they suck. James Allison said at some point during the season that there wasn't much he could do with the car because of it's inherant design (not one of his); the plans for Vettel to come where set in motion in June-ish. It's my belief that Kimi has used the season from then on as an extended test session and to give as much feedback to JA for next year to get a car he and Vettel like since they have similar driving styles.

I think we've lost sight of the fact that it's not 07 anymore. Who cares what happened then? People change, things change and I'm excited to see where this goes.

Yes. Ferrari drivers have to work together at all times to ensure the best result for the team.

Nobody knows all of the twists and turns of what happened inside at McLaren; but from the outside looking in, the situation was clearly in disarray which resulted in their ultimate implosion. Also, it impacted Ferrari very much because our main competitors had been stealing data from us and using it to their own ends. For that, they were ultimately disqualified. Frankly, the drivers should have been disqualified also, independent of fault, because their results were tied to whatever use McLaren made of our data.

It is true this is all water under the bridge now. It does not really matter what Ron says - you imagine it will be PR to best suit his current situation.

    Enough said, thread closed.

If someday Hamilton goes back to McLaren, Alonso will be the bad guy again.

All very well bas...kimi was once a good driver.

Not sure why you show is a vid of Kimi passing a toyota in a mclaren when hamilton made 20 or so similar passes this season and you scoff at them because his car is better. Probably 20 or more passes in a single race!

My question to you: at what point will you decide he sucks if the bad results keep coming? What if he does terribly next season?

A third of the points of alonso. What If it's the same gap to vettel? As kimis biggest fan when will you concede he just doesn't have it anymore?

Obviously I have no real insight, unlike you with everything, but from the outside it seems that Kimi loves a challenge. What he did with Lotus was exceptional. He knew he was punching above his weight class, and he seemed motivated.....maybe because it was an audition to get back into a cushy job at Ferrari with big bucks?

As soon as he was in the Ferrari and things didn't go well, that sparkle seemed to disappear.

Maybe next year, if the car is good and with the motivation to beat a 4 x WDC we might see that sparkle reappear...or maybe not.

Like the rest of you, I have no idea.

Not sure what Toyota you're referring to. If you're talking about the Renault, that was the machine to beat that season. Kimi never had a car which had the speed of W05, very few have enjoyed such a fast machine compared to the other cars. I don't scoff at Hamiltons passes, all I do say about them is that his car is THAT much faster than the others. Kimi came from the back that race to finish 1st in a car nowhere near as dominant as the W05, up against faster cars still.

To say Raikkonen sucks just shows your ignorance. If he has another terrible season next year than he might have lost it, but I think it's highly unlikely as you simply don't lose talent in a handful of months. It was mentioned he used most of this season as testing for 2015; if there's any degree of truth in it he'll be on form again next year in a car that doesn't want to do complete opposite of what he wants from it.

FYI this is the exact reason why people despise you on this forum: YOU believe someone SUCKS and then you spend the rest of your time trying to convert those who don't agree with you. You're like one of those religion enthusiasts who HAVE to show others the light no matter how much of **** you look or what you have to do.

Why don't you just go here: Mercedes-AMG F1 W05 - Racing Comments - The AUTOSPORT Forums , perhaps you can find more like minded people who want to take turn imagining bobbing on LH's funstick.
