Drove to Charleston today; had my iPod with me with ALL my old records finally loaded up..... Listened to Bob Dylan's "Blond on Blond" for the first time in, what?... 20 years? Lord, some things turn to crap and some things have staying power. Hard to believe how good that album was. My god, chill bumps.... You know, other things that seem SO GOOD that they will be: For The Ages.... seem like total crap after 20 years (i.e. Movie: Little Big Man), but Dylan is indeed the Real Deal. Any revisits?
Uro, you are so right about Dylan. One of my favorites of his is the Desire album.. Some other revisits...George Harrison - All Things Must Pass, Lindsay Buckingham - Out of the Cradle, Zeppelin - Led Zep I... It's always great to rediscover a classic..
