Anybody know anything about the Revival 1:20 model of the Ferrari 500F2 ? There is one on eBay for $155 (so far). It is a kit with metal body parts and frame. It is said to have nice wire wheels. I built a Tamiya Caterham Super Seven and really enjoyed it. This one is the 1952 short-exhaust type in red,
I think that there is a plastic version with cast wheels (much less expensive).
I plan to get an Exoto when I win the Lotto but this might keep me busy until then.

Revival models are great collector pieces, very nice and detailed but a bit antique in appereance and details (not really strange as they basically date from mid-70's.)
They came so early to market that they made wrong decision about scale – if there was 1/18 scene around when they started and they joined it rather than stick to 1/20 they'd be much better known today.

Nice. Might try my luck on ebay. Exoto's are way too dear for me.

    Looks detailed in the pics.
