oh that poor GT4! looked like a nice one too.
Im surprised not one car in that line up has the wheels turned in towards the curb, is that not a common practice in Australia?

Revving the engine in neutral will make no difference to the engine at all (except that it will rev slightly quicker as there is less loading on it).

Think about it: When you perform a heel 'n' toe down-shift to rev-match, are you not revving the engine with no load on it?

If anything, the engine has a slightly easier time of it when revving in neutral due to the lack of loading on it.

It is one of those services you find a source for prior to needing it. Don't wait for an emergency to find a dentist or a fire to know where the stairwell is in the hotel.

I live in Texas. I did not wait for the floods to figure out a good place for my house. The rain was an inconvenience, not an emergency.

If need be call your mechanic and get that information from him.

My larger point is, quality is available in everything under the sun. You need to be willing to find it, you need to be willing to pay for it and you will usually need to be willing to wait for it.

I always park my F1 612 in 1st gear, as it is "lower" than reverse (3.2 vs. 2.4). Reverse ratio is closer to 2nd than 1st in the 612. I use the hand brake, but am leery of it's reliability. I carry a block of wood for a chock to be safe and have never used it, but there are very few mountains in Florida.
