Sold by RM Sotheby's at Cliveden House. Low ownership, all matching numbers. Showing 34,700 miles. No Classiche. See here.

Estimate was £450,000 to £550,000.

 

Yes, does seem low. All in price inc BP was £398,750 GBP. Mind you Bonhams, Miami, May 2025 sold 365 GTB/4 16865 with matching engine, described as fantastic patina so may need lots of work (?) for $498,400 inc BP. See here.

Matching engine 15673 was sold by RM Milan for 539,375 EUR in May this year. Classiche 2006 so worthless.

 

Don't know if a genuine bid but RHD 250 GT/L 5461 here was only bid to £800,000. Looking in the history it had had previous damage with repairs to the roof and A pillar. The 2011 Classiche Red Book described the gearbox as the original one but from the description of the car the gearbox is not matching now. Is it even a correct type gearbox as all the description says is that it's mated to a 4 speed manual gearbox?

Generally very poor results from the 2025 RM Sotheby's Cliveden House sale here.

 

Regarding Lusso 5461 the following is a strange thing for RM Sotheby's to say in the description: "Significantly, in recognition of retaining its matching-numbers 3-litre engine by Colombo, the car was awarded Ferrari Classiche certification in July 2011." A Ferrari needs to have more than a matching numbers engine to get a Classiche Red Book. What about the gearbox that was stated to have been matching and the original one in the 2011 Classiche Red Book? It's now stated to have a matching engine mated to a 4 speed gearbox: "Boasts its matching-numbers V-12 engine mated to a four-speed manual gearbox." Is it still the original and or correct type gearbox? Was there a mistake in the 2011 Red Book? The way the description is written you'd think it does not now have its original matching gearbox, or even a correct gearbox, which if correct would not now qualify for Classiche Red Book Certification as it stands.

RM Sotheby's are now asking £950,000 GBP.
