I have googled and come up with 438 RHD. Can anyone please confirm? Also, is there any database where the production is broken down by colour? Thx!

Yes, I believe that's the table that came up on Google. I have heard there are only 7 yellow Testarossas made in RHD. Anyone out there that can verify...or deny?!!?
No this is not the correct figure. This often arises because there is confusion over RHD cars supplied new to the UK (which is the 438 figure) and total RHD production for all markets (including Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia etc.). There were seven RHD Testarossas supplied new to the UK in yellow. There were definitely others in RHD for other markets. Jonathan
Hi Jonathan, thanks for the confirm. Can I ask how you are able to confirm this? Also, it is my understanding that no Testarossas were officially delivered to Australia. I cannot say about the other markets you mentioned. Cheers!
I look after the UK Owners' Club Register of cars and gather information from all over. There were certainly Testarossas officially imported to Australia. At least 46. Maranello Concessionaires (the UK importer) were also the importer for Australia (and other RHD markets) at the time. Jonathan
I have 88 listed as here in the local Ferrari register. A couple of those could be dupes, and I'm sure there are some here that are not on the register as yet. I would say there are 4 yellow cars here!
I have been in the car industry for a long time in Australia. There were NO officially imported Testarossa. There were 2 privately imported in the early days. No points for guessing who would have imported such a car that by today's standards would have cost around a million dollars. As a result all major insurers here in Australia do not list Testarossa as an insurable car. Hence only boutique insurers will insure them. If they were officially imported they would be listed with the Australian federal chamber of automotive industries which has a record of all vin/chassis numbers in Australia and is the major source of information to the insurers and local registration authorities.
