I had nothing better to do this afternoon so I installed my Ricambi air horn kit that's been on the shelf for a few weeks. The front bumper removal was actually pretty cut and dry thanks to pics another member posted when he did his 360. Bolts are the same. I removed the front belly pan although you really only need to remove the forward bolts. I wanted to clean out all of the dirt that has collected since 2007.

There is not a lot of room for the trumpets so I got creative. I mounted one on each side near the same location as the stock horns. I cut the tubing to equal lengths so there would not be any delay between the two trumpets. I left the factory wiring intact and used the stock horn's connectors and ran new wiring to the compressor.

I mounted the compressor to the steering rack. It's mounted longitudinally for now due to space limitations for modified brackets.

These are loud. My wife hated the factory horn's sound. She says it now sounds like a proper Ferrari up front.

Here's a few pics. I had my friend and neighbour across the street help me out.

    Thanks for posting the pics.
I have the Ricambi horn sitting on the bench in the garage also. Looking forward to installing it in the next couple of weeks.

Can someone please post a video or sound clip comparing the electric "Honda" horn to the air horn?

Is it really necessary to remove the front wheels or can you just turn on full lock to get to those bolts?
    Thanks
