Christan Horner doesn't name the race engineer who had such a bad influence on Ricciardo. Who could he be ?
Hungary 2023 Ricciardo's first day on the job with Alpha Tauri and he beats Tsunoda.....nice. Came from the back after being hit by Zhou and Ricciardo dominoes the Alpines taking them both out. Ricci was P13 vs Yuki P15.
Did Ricci steal you candy in an earlier life? Call Marko and tell him how you feel. The car is so bad it almost doesnt matter what Ricci or Yuki really do other than minimize mistakes to maximize performance. Ricci also has a role in making the bad car a little better.
Well done Ricci! --Considering he’d had no testing in the AT04, the tough hot conditions and he got hit by Zhou in the Turn 1 melee that sent him into Ocon, this was very impressive. That shunt made his medium-starting strategy harder, but AlphaTauri opted to shorten his middle one on the hards and his consistent 40 laps nursing the mediums having undercut up the order changed his result.-- Autosport.com rating -- 9
He has been given the opportunity to show that he has regained his mojo . Today was not a stellar day for him
Agree. Giving benefit of the doubt with basically zero practice on friday in only his 2nd weekend back.
Apparently Ric is asking the team for answers about why he's so slow compared to his teammate. "Christian... why am I so slow compared to Max?" "Cryill... why am I so slow compared to Ocon?" "Zac... why am I so slow compared to Lando?" Me thinks a pattern is emerging. "But... but... but... I'm the honey badger... aren't I? Apparently giving yourself nicknames is supposed to be worth a couple or so tenths.
Autosport headline today….. Horner: Ricciardo has “met all expectations” in F1 comeback. I had no idea that expectations were so low…..
Sergio is just horribly unsettled now, especially with all his mistakes. On his day, i rate him much higher than Danny boy.
A few years ago, I used to follow these 2: Perez and Ricciardo. Over time, Perez has moved to different teams to finally reach Red Bull, and he improved a lot, I thought, In the opposite, Daniel Ricciardo, a product of the Red Bull organisation, has made some strange career moves, and his form declined. Now Ricciardo is "back to square one", and could possibly threaten to take Sergio's seat. I think Perez has matured, and I hope they keep him.
