    Regret to report the passing of Richard Popovich, friend of our events, after a battle with cancer this
    morning.

    A true enthusiast for anything that went fast, cars, boats or planes. Seen here in his pride and joy
    Ferrari 456 at the 2016 Miami Beach Concours.

    Originally from Seattle, Washington where he acquired a taste for Unlimited hydroplane racing,
    Richard and his wife Sue settled in the St. Louis, Missouri area and they also wintered in Fort Lauderdale.
