    I am writing to let Ferrari.chat members know that there is an exciting charity day event taking place in south Dorset in early June. Ride In A Ferrari and Help Fight Spinal Muscular Atrophy takes place at the Wyevale Garden Centres branch at Owermoigne in Dorset on Saturday 3rd June between 10am and 4pm. I am looking for Ferrari owners who might not already know about it to take part to give rides for the two good causes we are supporting in 2006. The Jennifer Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy is our main benefiting charity and in 2006, our guest good cause is the Ridgeway Ward at Dorset County Hospital.
    I am also open to accepting a limited number of "guest" supercars such as Aston Martin, Lamborghini and Bentley Continental GT's to add some variety to the day.

    We have a number of different Ferrari's and "guest" cars expected. Ferrari's that have attended before have ranged in age from the 1964 275GTB/4 up to the 360 Modena. I am expecting more modern cars again this year with our first F430 offered. We should see aroubd 15-20 cars in all.
    Our "guest" cars will include a Bentley Continental GT and a Dodge Viper.
    Check www.jtsma.org.uk/ferrari for pictures of cars that have been before, reivews of previous events and how to contact the charity to confirm you'd like to come.

    This year’s Ride In A Ferrari and Help Fight Spinal Muscular Atrophy event raised £2,400 which will be split between the Jennifer Trust for SMA charity and the Ridgeway Ward at Dorset County Hospital, Dorchester, with 19 cars attending. Ferrari highlights included the new F430 and recent production models like the F355 and 360 Modena. Guest cars included the Bentley Continental GT and Porsche 911 GT2. The provisional date for next year’s event is Saturday 2nd June.
